Our Great Working Relationship – Part 1

This module is the first part in a three-part series. It has been designed to help you and the people who support you learn how to have a great working relationship.

The relationship between you and your staff can be confusing. People are paid to work with you. But it’s not a one-way street, and as this module will explain, you actually need to be equal partners.

Finding and Building Friendships

This module shares some ways that you can find and make friends.

Friendships can make a big difference to your life. Friendships can make you happier, healthier, and help you to live longer.

This module features presentations from a range of leading professionals and self-advocates, including Beth Mount, Steve Dymond, Harvey Pacht, and Dave Hasbury.

After finishing this module, you will be able to:

  • Describe a range of ways to find and build friendships.
  • Explain the different skills needed to make and keep good friends.
  • Understand the basics of keeping yourself safe when making new friends.
